Influenza (referred to as influenza) is an acute respiratory infection caused by influenza virus. It is also a highly infectious and fast-transmitting disease. It is mainly transmitted through droplets in the air, person-to-person contact, or contact with contaminated items. The autumn and winter seasons are in high season, so the child-friendly space invites the deputy chief nurse of the Nursing Department of the former Luzhou People's Hospital to spread the common sense of "flu" to parents and children in the community. A total of 10 families participated in the activity, with 30 direct beneficiaries and 120 indirect beneficiaries. The activity was carried out at the Women and Children's Home of Chengbei Community Comprehensive Service Center in Quzhou City.

Which people are more likely to get the flu? Children under six (especially children under two); elderly over sixty-five; pregnant women during pregnancy; obesity; people with chronic diseases; people with low immunity; etc. These people should pay special attention to the prevention and control of influenza. Seven precautions must be taken:

1. Maintain indoor air circulation, and avoid crowd gathering places during peak seasons;

2. Use tissue paper when coughing or sneezing to avoid droplet transmission;

3. Always wash your hands thoroughly and avoid touching your mouth, eyes, and nose with dirty hands;

4. Seek medical attention if flu-like symptoms occur during the epidemic, and reduce contact with others, and try to rest at home;

5. Influenza patients should be isolated from the respiratory tract for one week or until the main symptoms disappear. Patient utensils and secretions should be thoroughly disinfected;

6. Strengthen outdoor physical exercise to improve the body's disease resistance;

7, autumn and winter climate changeable, pay attention to addition and subtraction of clothes.

At the event, the teacher also demonstrated to the students "how to wear a mask", "how to do when sneezing" and "seven steps to wash your hands" and other practical tips for preventing flu in daily life.

"Influenza" can cause serious complications such as pneumonia and encephalitis. Parents should pay great attention to it. If the child has a high fever above 38.5 °, he should seek medical treatment in time to avoid missing the best opportunity for treatment.
